I liked his "If Barbra Streisand can try to do my job, then I can try to do her's" skit. Otherwise, I've felt that SNL has been DEAD (excepting the Smeigel cartoons) for the last four years at least.
uh... are we supposed to take the opinion of someone who spends their saturday night watching TV.. then imediatley goes online to announce their dissatisfaction.. you wouldnt happen to be comic book guy from the simpsons?
SNL Agreed. The show has never really recovered from the departure of the Farley, Sandler, Hartman, and Spade cast. This current crop just doesn't do it for me.
I liked it, especially the Hardball skit, as well as the Lifetime difformation and especially "Tom Calhoun".
The Hardball skit was fantastic. I wouldn't say it's been dead, treading water maybe. It's certainly in trouble now that Will Ferrell is gone. He's one of my favorite all-time SNL cast members.
On top of all that, he is in hot water in NM because he missed a few important votes because he was rehearsing in NY last week.
