May start on Monday: 1342932075473731590 is not a valid tweet id Joel Soñora could be a starter on Monday against #GimnasiaLP . The midfielder would enter instead of Juan Ignacio Méndez and it would be the only tactical change made by Medina with respect to the match against #AtleticoTucuman
He didn’t start but has come on before the end of the half. Talleres up 0-1. I’m going to go watch and see how #10 looks!! This is the “champion bracket”.

Sonora did not get off the bench in a 2-2 draw I have to say, this has been a really disappointing season for Sonora. When Tomas Pochettino left Talleres for Austin FC, it seems like Sonora finally had a path forward to becoming a starter. Initially, Sonora made a string of starts for Talleres but gradually returned to his normal sub role. Sonora can do some things really well. He can hit a good shot from distance, his long-range passing is solid, he can deliver an outstanding cross, and make some well timed runs. He's also limited. His defense is questionable and he's not fast. He will continue to make some nice plays off the bench but many managers all seem to have come to the conclusion that he is a situational player, and not really a starter. I think that's probably why he never made it with Stuttgart when they were in the 2.Bundesliga. It's just an example of why a player can be productive when on the field, but still struggle to play. I ran the numbers and as someone who will turn 25 in September, he's still not even at 2000 first team minutes across all competitions (1679 in the Argentine Primera or 2020/21 Copa Professional, 215 in Argentina's domestic cups, 74 in the Copa Libertadoes). Across those competitions, he's made just 16 starts. This year has really just proved that. Things were set up for him to start and he was given the chance. He just couldn't hold it.
