Here are Joe-Max's EPL and Yanks stats for the past five years (the EPL might be off a tiny bit)

    EPL 2266 min 8g 3a .437
    USA 2575 min 8g 6a .489

    Pretty close, eh?

It might not be a bid idea for EPL teams to look closely the USA stats. I'll also make the nth plug for Mathis. Given his performance for USA, it's quite likely he would be in the leaders of a major European league.

Although Joe's only been in the EPL 3 years (IIRC), having more minutes for the US than in league play is pretty weak. For that matter, having more US minutes than club doesn't say much for our quality up-front. Hope that changes.

Ben, if you're really trying to pump Mathis, it's probably best not to mention him in the same breath as Moore. Also, while you can make many more Mathis plugs (nth-squared?) :) it won't change the fact that he's damaged goods. Three major knee surgeries and a rep for not working hard is not exactly what managers in top Tier Euro leagues are looking for. Might he be picked up? Certainly, but he will be a bargain-basement buy and not be paid a high wage. Fortunately for him, that low wage would be higher than MLS, Unfortunately for him, MLS is unlikely to accept a low bid.

I looked at the last five years of USA stats since I have those. If anyone has pre-98 USA stats, please let know where to find them.

As for Moore's EPL minutes. It's not an Eddie Lewis situation here. The guy is a part of the team. He gets a decent amount of minutes.

I think we're pretty strong up front. We've got Mathis, Wolff, Donovan, and McBride. Twellman and Buddle could both be major stars. If there is time (I tend to doubt it), I'd be giving some minutes to Cunningham and Carrieri. And let's not forget that only four teams scored more goals than us in the World Cup, Brazil, Germany, Turkey, and Spain.
