    This is definitely true, but the same could be said if the Dems did it. People just don't have a clue about data collection and how it can be used.

    Putting that aside, the people who are really smart (and interested in power and money) really don't want this type of behavior. They want stability because it allows them to softly gain power and wealth. Imagine if this was successful. Imagine if we came under a dictatorship. What would happen to Amazon, and a hell of a lot of tech industry innovation? Or innovation in general?

    What we saw were not the smartest people, they were the people who could get convinced to do the dirty work. They were the people who were expendable.

    (And I'm not having a dig at you since this is said constantly.)
