Well, FWIW, video of this match is being webcast live here. Cost is €5.95. Click on the English flag in the upper right for the English translation. WMP required (which means I can't get it on this machine). If someone happens to find a free mirror of the stream somewhere, please post it up.
I'm going to be in and out of the home office all morning so I didn't pony up for the webcast. Livescore has it 0-0 about 15 in.
Ajax up 2-0 at or before 23'. (Of course I'm going to be stuck on the damn phone for the next hour and will wish I'd dropped the 6 quid for the webcast. Serves me right for a being cheap.)
Dutch site has it being vdVaart's hat trick. But Ajax's had it being Zlatan's. http://www.ajax.nl/show/id=1322/contentid=27605 No mention of JOB throughout.
livescore.com says zlatan - either way, i think we needed a nice goalfest and most of the first team is back and pimpin' so im happy
I was thinking about doing it but I was a little scared the damn thing would cut out on me and I'll lose my $10. How's that for cheap? Has anyone ever done that? And if so, how was the quality for cable modem/DSL users?
First mention of JOB, making a nice interception on a dangerous pass. 69. Goede dieptepass op Lim Duan, maar voordat het gevaarlijk wordt, grijpt O´Brien keurig in
Sounds like the case here is the same as it was last week for JOB in his comeback. Relatively weak and unthreatening opponent in domestic competition for Ajax. Won't be the same in the next seven days, though, IIRC (and someone correct me if I'm mistaken)-- Champions League against Valencia in midweek, and the Dutch superclassico against PSV next Sunday. It'll be interesting to see where JOB stands in those games as per his true form.
I watched this game in person (yes, I actually went to Zwolle, believe it or not), and talked to JOB afterwards. He played okay, not great. After the game he complained about being leg-weary due to the number of games he's played recently. But more importantly, no problems at all with his recovered Achilles. "It felt great, no pain at all."
