    Defense seems to be a dirty word in this one.

    No, just going by Ajax's text commentary--which had him starting at right back, then at left back when Witschge entered into the match.

    interesting - i wonder why the change - just because trabelsi is out? - i cant say that ive ever seen JOB on the right of MF or defense - anybody know whats up?

    It's because Trabelsi is out/rested/injured.

    He's likely to return for Milan on Wednesday evening. With De Jong out, JOB is the best option Koeman has for the right back role.

    He has played at right back before, under Adrianese.

    JOB was playing right back last year (2 or 3 games?) before he played left back if I remember. He just ended up settling at left back for the end of the season.

    I believe that at the end of the season he had started games at left mid, left back, central mid, and right back.
