Guy's , i'm gonna be honest with you , I have no idea how good this guy is so give me your opinion, is he a good midfielder, is he a great midfielder, is he a flash in the pan or will he make the National Team in 2006!!!
I seriously doubt that. Alves will be coming in to replace Viana, not Moutinho. Of course, Moutinho is quite young and will need to go through the rigours of a full season, as opposed to the half season that he just played (he started from December onwards), so we'll see how he fares, but Alves is not coming in to replace Moutinho - mark my words
Well, Alves, Wender and Nunes...plus we'll be getting Luis Loureiro who, up until December/January, was playing in * gulp * Braga.
Moutinho will be a staple in the Portugal midfield for years to come. He's small, but he plays with a lot of heart and has a great knack of being in the right place at the right time. It's something that i can't explain though, there is just something about him when you see him play...He's a good passer and he hustles...he's not too flashy and goes out and does his job....and a lot of poise for a player his age
For all Chelsea fans and Portuguese fans in NJ...I heard from the Rutgers Coach that Chelsea will be training at their campus in Piscataway, NJ from July 19th thru the 30th...they play a friendly with A.C. Milan on the 31st at Giants Stadium... I expect to go, and I will post pictures....
