That is a fair point but I'll say this: Renato didn't cost €120 million and wasn't regarded as the greatest young player to play the game since Ronaldo. Renato actually showed flashes on the NT and was excellent for parts of Euro 2016 Felix has shown none of that.

Most opposition players just bring him down as soon as he gets the ball, and even if he does get the ball past a player, he doesn't have the pace to get past the player or outrun him. He hasn't tried to change his technique much either. His shooting is so bad that whenever he gets a good shooting opportunity you just know he's going to sky it. He hasn't been able to play well against low block teams in the league, and also isn't useful on the counter due to his pace. He's had a run of good games each season but it ends with him getting injured for a long long time after 10ish games. He's lazy. His effort is shit. But you Lampioes will cling desperately to a dude who hasn't shown any semblance of someone who can throw together an elite string of performances.
