Making a thread to follow Joao Mario,s club career. I know he doesnt get nearly the hype on here as Sanches , but he was an important part of Portugals euro 16 team. I think we missed him in confederations. He had a mixed debut season at inter , but from what I've seen he's doing well in pre season. Hopefully he has a strong season at inter and can help Portugal at the World Cup again . Forca joao Mario, a intelligent and skillful midfielder with a positive attitude.
Great player and still young, needs to work on his finishing though. Better than Gomes that's for sure. Definitely missed at the Confeds
JM thread prompted me to log back in and comment. IMHO he is a key player for the NT - does so much so well. I've looked back through the 2016 matches...the guy rarely makes a mistake. I don't follow SA...look forward to updates on his club season. He needs to be healthy for us next year or cod help us.
