Hey, since our man Jimmy Conrad returns to Spartan Stadium this Saturday, we should do something special to welcome him back. What do you all think about the idea of bringing in some oversized yellow cards and holding them up when he's introduced? I know it's not that original, but I think he'd appreciate it. He was always good to the fans when he was here, so we should find a way to thank him (and razz him a bit). In fact, it'd be cool if the cards in the Casbah spelled out "Thank you Jimmy" or something like that on the reverse side ("Thanks JC" would require less cards and people). I'm in Section 110 which is right in front of the opposing team during introductions. We could maybe try to do it there as well or instead.
I like the idea, I just wish I could be there to help out. No matter what he did on the field, Jimmy was always one of my favorites just because of his personality. Yall give him a good welcome back

I'd help out if it's in the Casbah, but I do think it might get his attention more in your section since you'll be right in front of him.
And I just went through my paper. I have some 9x12 yellow construction paper. I'm sure I have a thick black marker around here somewhere. Want me to make up the signs? Just let me know what the concensus is on what to put on them.
We could throw "spongebob Squarepants" dolls at him as he walks down the ramp but the yellow card idea is more practical. A standing ovation when he's announced would be cool too.

It turns out that I may be in one of the boxes this weekend and not in my normal seats in Section 110, so someone else is going to have to make this happen. Battchy, Section 111 would be cool, but the Casbah should also make something happen (Erin?). Hopefully Spartacus will pause a little bit after announcing Jimmy to give the crowd a little time to show our appreciation.

Absolutely. I planned to give Jimmy the same type of "welcome back" build up I gave to Ronald Cerritos last year. He'll hear appreciation from me...maybe not in words but certainly in tone.
Hmm, maybe anytime Spartacus mentions "Jimmy Conrad" (god forbid Conrad should score) or any time he is fouled (or fouls someone?) the Casbah should shout, "Yeah, whatever!"
