One thing I think the league does rather poorly are highlight videos or viewer guides for relative newcomers to the sport, which can help introduce them to the league and capture their interest or feature certain players to look for and what it is they do that's worth looking for. Even websites like Equalizer aren't very good at this.

On the other hand, there are some fans on the Internet who put together some very entertaining videos, which in some cases go well beyond goal highlights and show the more subtle strengths of some of the best players. I'm thinking, for instance, of the guy or girl who goes by JigsawWill. On Twitter @Jigsawwill and on YouTube, he or she has a channel :

I wish some of them would get more attention because they are great introductions to some of the best players in women's soccer and would, I think, help draw people into the sport and, for instance, into the NWSL in particular. I'll try to list a handful of some of my favorite videos of NWSL players here. I'd like to see if any of you have any favorites and to discuss how we can make things like this more accessible to people who may be tuning into the league for the first time.

For starters, here's a fairly obvious player to highlight: Kim Little
