There is a small mistake in the translation, the coach sees him as a 6 or an 8 not as a 5 which is somehow the position I personally would like to see him play for us in the future.. like a playmaker and a DM as the same time with Sinisterra and Diaz turning into a 9 (similar to his role in the game against Germany) when necessary and Arias as a false 10. Really impressive attitude for a 19 year old! Bossed midfield, confident carrying the ball and keeping defenders on his back or playing one touch, also comfortable letting shots go from distance or half turn in the box. Encouraging!
We have a lot of encouraging youngsters. Which is why I am very optimistic about the next couple tournaments.
Girona is first in La Liga and beat Barca at their home yesterday, lots of our young guys are probably a little unlucky in a sense that their teams are really over achieving in Leverkusen, Aston Villa and Girona and its not as easy to give minutes in those spots. Either way though it's a good experience for them to have to fight for minutes in good teams that are doing things well. Let's see how it plays out but Solis and Puerta really are needed by the next World Cup, so hopefully they take steps over the next year to play regularly.
