El jugador de Nacional y ex Once Caldas fue adquirido por el equipo Paços de Ferreira de la primera división portuguesa que jugará Champions League.

His best season was 2 years ago under Osorio in Caldas, he was the league top scorer. He plays as a left winger, has good dribbling, he is fast and he has ver powerful shots from long distance, including free kicks. Seems very interesting signing by Pacos, who will play CL preliminary. Nacional bought him from Caldas for 3,000,000 million dollar and now they will loan him to Pacos for 2 years with an option to buy him.

Seems like a very good acquisition for Paços. Pretty sure it's Jorge Mendes financed, considering his price/reputation.

I read it was a free transfer. Which would suck for Nacional after paying 3 million bucks for him. Kid is good just did not make it at Nacional which is not as easy as it seems. Most players who go there fail. Nacional and Junior are two rich teams who buy ton of players and burn them ?

Jhon has the ability to succee there. small team, not too many star players and if Jhon will get his chances, I have no doubt that he'll do well. the Champions qualifiers can exposure him even more, although it will be tough for them to get to the group stage.

Nacional's board dismissed the transfer to Portugal and said that Jhon has a valid contract until 2015. So right now he'll remain with Nacional.
