    Zenit against Krasnodar today

    Duran:
    * on the bench
    * didn’t play

    1-1 result, Krasnodar stays in first place; Jhon Cordoba with the assist for Krasnodar

    Duran not even on the bench today…wonder what he did (or didn’t do now).

    I think we can close the book on Duran - cautionary tale…

    We cannot let that agent near a single one of our players ever again, sending a basket case young guy with a bunch of money who needs stability into countries with totally different cultures he won't be able to acclimate to is such a nightmare. He was getting back to playing well in Turkey and he couldn't keep him there, Aston Villa obviously wasn't a full understanding but after that its been a nightmare, same with Yaser sending him to a place where he isn't a guaranteed starter.

    In a World Cup year these guys committed career suicide and I'm sure it means a lot to them to go with Colombia, but they were on track to be showcased which helps their career let alone their dreams I'm sure.

    There should be no corner of Colombia where Herrera should be able to land his ridiculous private jet without people spitting on him and refusing him service.

    Our two most promising players in a generation basically retired before they have turned 22.

    played 25 minutes today off the bench in 0-0 game against Lokomotiv...

    according to the Futmob metrics, didn't appear to make a difference...plus he got a yellow card

    At this point, Krasnodar (Jhon Cordoba's team) has a game in hand and is 2 points behind for 1st place in the league with 5 league games remaining for Krasnodar and 4 for Zenit...

    This would make for b2b league titles for Krasnodar/Cordoba

    Still would take him over Santos Borre.

    Heck, I'd take Neyser over him at this point. He has scored more goals in Brazil than him the last couple months. :ROFLMAO:

    You’re not wrong and it’s a great topic of discussion.

    the upside is Aston Villa Duran form

    the downside is zero goals, World Cup record for yellow cards and teammates walking on eggshells in the locker room…

    not even remotely worth it even at his "peak" (which he never really reached bc of his inconsitency) he wasnt a determining player.

    The wording is kinda interesting. It is mutual and seems neutral. If he were in trouble they would have said something like a suspension for team rules policy violation or something.
    Hopefully everything is alright.

    Damn here I thought he scored and could save us from a Borre call up and nope….

    another dumb childish act that keeps him farther from the Nt

    can these teams not fine him? He only cares about money so fine him a month salary everytime he pulls something like this.

    His crooked agent will also finally tell him something

    it’s funny feel if he fails in his next loan after 6 months they might just make him a free agent

    Scored some fantastic goals in the Premier League which is more than most Colombian players can say.

    Do you think he will make the cut? Realistically if he does better in training than he has in Russia then likely. But do you guys think it is worth making an example out of him and leaving him out?

    Still young though. It is not like he is retiring.
    But he has been a real let down so far when considering his potential.

    The answer is he probably will not make the cut but only Lorenzo knows.
    If he were truly radioactive and a cancer or had zero chance of making the squad then he probably would have been left off the list of 55.
    But he is on the list.
    So it is not as clear cut as people here make it seem.

    More than six months. This is so tragic for Colombian soccer. Up there with Johnnier Montaño and Pino.
