I will say it. Should have been our starting 9 since the very beginning of the cycle. Heck, maybe even at the end of the Rueda regime.

Confidence is oozing. And Cordoba is not the only player saying such things. I hope he starts though. He is hungry and seems determined which can help us win.

So we've been sleeping on Cordoba's progress in Russia; dude has Krasnodar actually challenging for the title and he's had 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 matches. I know it's Russia and all but I wonder if he'll get another chance to play in a stronger league if he keeps this up.
one could deal with our players being in the Russian league. But once they were suspended from playing CL, EL or international futbol, it's a horrible place to end up as a pro (unless you're Russian of course).
He's done really well and gotten better in Russia, but think this is likely end of the road unless he's available on a free transfer to lower level Germany/France/Spain/Italy if he's cheap. If he really wanted to I'm sure he could for a year or two but if he decided to stick it out in Russia at this point not sure why he'd want to leave.
Yup. He must be on great money though I have no idea how the Russian teams can support wages with their stadiums empty (as they seem to be on all the goal vids) and with no European competition prize/TV money.
