On top of that no huevos. Why didn't he man up ask to kick a penalty kick instead of having CB kicking the 3rd penalty kick.
Because he's undisciplined mentally. I've been saying this for a hell of a long time. Now he be lucky to even be considered for the national team call up whether Senior or Olympic (if we qualify). Maybe Joao Rodriguez will step up in 2 years by then.
Not a huge fan of this guy but he busted his ass more than any other player we had. He was up top playing along against the world for 4 games. Easy to pick on him but Bonilla coat is the game by lettin in a weak goal
I do think this kid has potential. He plays well with opponents on his back. He has decent dribble and obviously he has physical tools. He can still develop his finishing skills. It just frustrating watching a CB kick a penalty instead of your "#9".
Yeah, the number 9 is for our BEST striker. And last I checked, number 9 players score enough to earn that number. Jhon Cordoba needs to be trained properly. I wished that Arsenal got him since Wenger is that passionate for youth development.
I don't remember Jackson Martines at his young ages, does he really have the potential to become Jackson? Frankly I see another Nazarith
If Porto does buy him then they're making a risk; his finishing is terrible and I hope that they know what they're getting into and invest a lot of finishing training.
I think Crzd brought up a good comparison with Ibarbo. People were saying he sucked after the 2009 Sub20 Sudamericano. Now he has developed into a very good player. Give Cordoba some time.
More than time he needs a lot of work.... he has potential but at the same time he lacks of very important things that a striker must have
the truth is, he's only 20. Luca Toni, for example, became a real killer when he was around 27. We should give him the benefit of the doubt that he has what it takes to become a really good player.
it is not a matter of age.. it is a matter of improving things that he should already have He makes the same mistakes like Nazarith, Marco Perez, Wason when they were 20. Now they are older and keep doing the same things... Cordoba must work on many things yet, if he does, he might a chance, if not we will forget him in a couple of years
I wish this kid luck but like others have said here he's got a ton of work to do. I would also like to know how is it possible that 3 NT striker selections : Teo, Bacca and Jackson go thru so undiscovered at the youth level? It tells me that we're not doing enough to find in our youth system to find the BEST guys upfront.
