Cordoba killed all his NT chances.....the borre arrival would help him to called him without excuses in case he perfomed better than borre in same league.

what Bobic said is like " Jhon got the opportunity (to go to another place) and he did not want to miss it, so they worked on the best solution for both parties" more or less.
To me it sounds like Hertha was not really interested in keeping him and this was probably a good chance for them to get rid of him and make some money as well.

Yeah I don't think leaving Hertha is a mistake really since they have Piatek and he wasn't really reproducing the form he had at Koln and both parties probably benefit. Maybe this will be good for his career but I think he had a really good season that was more of an outlier for him and it may have set expectations too high. Can't fault a guy for going for a bigger move when Hertha came calling but being comfortable in a team and role has a lot of benefits.

For sure, if he didnt feel confortable playing for Hertha then it is ok to leave. The question is didn't he have much better options than going to Russia?

In my opinion we have seen what Morelos can provide. Which isn't much under three different managers.
I would like to see what Cordoba can do as a backup to Duvan and finally be given a chance.
Especially if JuanFer ever gets back on the team. They can rekindle the chemistry they had since they were teenagers.

It all depends on how Rueda views him obviously and I am not even sure he has him in his plans.

We've seen what Morelos can offer over multiple seasons at club, we've seen what Cordoba can offer over even more seasons at club (basically one season where he probably ran really hot in front of goal). Neither has really had a chance to start competitive games for Colombia, pretty sure which one I'd bet on being involved and I think its warranted.

He keeps on showing me things that not too many players can provide.
(A lot of it is God Given physique as a target man but a lot of it is just plain hustle and finding ways to put shots on target.)

Might make sense for this guy to take Duvan's spot on the roster. He's the closest to his attributes, and away in La Paz and against Brazil it would be nice to have a physical guy like this.

He is not "rewarding my faith". He is just doing what he has been doing the last couple years and finally living up to his potential.
I simply just make observations and say if I think he adds something to our National team. :D

    Makes sense to me.
Does it make sense to Rueda though? (I hope it does.)

Ha! Well, I laugh to myself and think of you here whenever I see the guy score. Not enough fans are loyal to their guys.

I understand but he is not "my guy".
I just follow the trends of players in general who either score goals or guys who I think have attributes that can help the National team in a certain way.
Or guys who fit within a certain tactical system.
That can be any guy at any moment.

Whatever you say. When he crashed and burned at Berlin, you stuck by him. Whatever you want to call that is fine by me.

I usually come into this thread when I have seen him scoring or doing hold up play that only he or Duvan can provide.

It is called making observations and then sharing them.
