someone needs to sign him, I guess he's unlucky to not have been born taller. Literally only reason he hasn't signed (his age too to a lesser extent)
For the NT, this is fine as it will keep him in form and reduce travel for our games. But it's a disaster for his career, he deserved the big pay day and put simply, Fluminense screwed him over. He signed an extension a year and a half ago when he didn't have to. They should have taken Feyenoord's money and let him play in Europe.
He was loyal and massively helped the club and he got boned for it. It's crazy to me some really in need clubs wouldn't offer for a guy with no weaknesses and is a soldier for the team, but he's still a great player and Brazil as a league is much better than Russia so hopefully he'll remain at a high level, but for sure its probably opportunity missed for him. Down to agents again, there is no reason this guy isn't on more teams radar.

Tremendo dato.

I think the take away so far from the club World Cup is the Brazilian league is stronger then many give it credit for and they have money now too. I think the main driver of this was the gulf states wanted to get their teams into a competition with Euro elite clubs, FIFA wants their money and the USA wants to host a legit club competition and FIFA wants to get their money. What's happening so far is the South Americans are raising their profile.
Fluminense wasting tonnes of chances. Hope it won't cost them in the end. They deserve at least a draw in this game.
Arias pulling off an even better game than Rios yesterday. And against top european opposition. Something better than Turkish league must come up.
ive always rated the Brasileirao really high. On par with many euro leagues easily the best in south america, by quite a distance. but im happy that now they get to prove it on a big stage. This is why the CWC is useful, the eurosnobs get a nice humbling btw, conmebol is totally undefeated thus far. Just saying
I couldn't watch these games, im at work until 4 and don't get home for at least another hour but all these guys are early. no chance for me, I saw the rerun for River but Flu's game is locked on the DAZN site. ill watch the Inter game tonight
