It's interesting...had he not been willing to take a paycut, he'd still be in Liga mx. Funnier still how bad a move it seemed when he couldn't hold down a starting position in the championship.
It helps that the rest of this Porto team is pretty good and they're not always compromising their defenders.
Veracruz cashed out on him young, sent him to fail.....he came back to mexico half the man his now. We made him a savage, sent him back to Europe a champion....come ********eth with the GOAT mexican team<_<
I've always thought layun was a solid player, just that he wasn't always consistent. It looks like he's finding consistency and at a very high level.
Both Gio and Vela were at top teams. All they showed was how bad of a decision it is to go to a top 3 team as a teenager. ...and how injuries can ******** you up even when things start to look good.
Evandro over Herrera? It's enough, i think Herrera should move in the next transfer window. Glad to see Layun playing well, i thought he was going to ride the bench. Me cerró la boca. Why the less skillful mexican players are tearing up in europe? Mentality....
Some of you are starting to sound like undercover nads. Both Gio and Vela enjoyed tremendous success when they got consistent playing time and weren't hampered by injuries. I'd rather have more Gio's and Vela's coming up in the youth ranks than hard-working overachievers. We're not the US. Form is temporary; class is permanent.
