Stranger things have happened. However Leeds need to get enough results the rest of the season to save Jesse's job and keep them from getting relegated. It's looking increasingly unlikely that that will happen. I'm struggling to see where Leeds will pick up enough points to stay up. Leeds have 8 away matches remaining. In the 10 away matches they've played so far, they've managed one win and two draws. Leeds have 8 home matches remaining: Man Utd, Southampton, Brighton, Palace, Liverpool, Leicester, Newcastle, and Spurs. So, either Leeds are going to put together a miraculous string of good results (and major upsets), or they're going down, despite the board backing Jesse in the summer and January transfer windows more than any other Leeds manager in recent memory has been backed.
