What is the story with Jerzey Dudek at the moment?? Is he going to make it back into the team or is Gerard Houllier going to sell him and stick with Chris Kirkland as the number one keeper??

He's not going to sell him, no. Why surrender a strong goalkeeping position by selling someone of his class? Healthy competition - good for LFC.

Maybe I should rephrase the question and ask if Jerzey Dudek will want to stay at Liverpool under these conditions??

There was an article on Socceret or some other site, Jerzy said he understood why he was replaced and said he admitted that his form was poor. Said he looks forward to being given another chance to show that he is over that form and is back like last year. Said there are still an ample number of games left and he will be ready when called on.

I hope Jerzey is given another chance to make it back as he has been a great keeper for us and one of my favourite players at LFC.

And he's right. With the FA Cup, Worthington Cup, the League and UEFA Cup, there are many games left to be played.

And weren't there concerns about how Kirkland's back would hold up over the course of a season?

Let's face it - Jerzy Dudek is a world class goalkeeper and, although Chris Kirkland has aquitted himself admirably in the last two months, Dudek need not fear the bench - he will get his chance, he will grasp it and all will be as it was.
