Assuming this is the correct pink jersey, what will Benfica wear against teams who play in red? Either there will be a third jersey, last years beige will continue as a third for this season, or we will have a tough time telling players apart.
I like this jersey, it's simple and has a nice retro look to it. The only thing that needs to change is the size of the PT logo (or just ditch it completely).
I always liked the Vodafone one. It's pretty ************ that the three grandes have all the same sponsor: PT.
I got confirmation from Portugal that indeed Benfica's away jersey will be pink... meanwhile the name and #s on these jerseys apparently will be black while the red jerseys will maintain the white ones (as will Porto's home jersey).
Can't wait to see them in their "Pink" uniforms Oh the fun we are going to have at their expense Can you say priceless, just like a Mastercard commercial
I'm waiting to see the real one. If it's a light pink, I think they'll look ok, if it's a normal or darker pink, then they won't look so ok, lol. CSD, does Benfica gear make up a decent portion of your sales? Hopefully that pink jersey is a hot seller (and that the training gear isn't pink).
I heard it's a light pink and that it actually doesn't look all that bad (I guess that will have to be my Sales pitch at the store when staring at these jerseys in front of customers ) but to answer your question, indeed Benfica gear make up a good percentage of my sales. But I'm not worried, traditionally the Benfica away jersey is not a very big seller while items like the Home jersey, the warm-ups and other training gear always sell well (I don't think any of their training gear is pink - that would be murder IMO!)
2007/2008 FC Porto Home, Away, and Goalkeeper jerseys They were officially presented today. Good job on the white jersey. Now if only Adidas could understand that the white jersey is what most Benfica fans want their team to have as an alternate.
Nike uniforms look much nicer than Adidas..Hopefully, Benfica will sign a deal with Nike in the future...
