I would have thought by now there would be a jersey or stadium sponsor. With all the "big money" in Silicon Valley the Quakes surely should be able to get one (or two) lined up. Any opinions as to why this hasn't happened yet?
I've been asking myself that for a long time now, since Amway (thankfully) left. Just how much does it cost to be a MLS jersey sponsor? Is there some base amount that prices out lots of potential sponsors? It's absurd that we can't get anyone to sponsor it.
Probably holding out for a Stadium-Jersey dual sponsorship. I don't doubt the club's ability to get one, at this point they're probably holding off on their options.
We bought the new jerseys at the game. STHs got 25% off! But I would have preferred to have a sponsor on the jersey. They really lack style... They're cut kinda tight too.
Does anyone think that the corporations don't trust Lew & how he's run the A's.? Do you think if he had a high profile DP, the corps. might be more inclined to be a sponsor?
We should have just reupped with Amway after 2011. I don't care if they're an mlm scam we could've bought Dawkins with that cash and re-signed beita.
I had to opt for XXL. I'm normally an XL. (But the PSV Eindhoven jersey I got at Philips stadium a couple years back, Nike, was XL and the damn thing is huge... Bigger than the Adidas XXL).
The Quakes have already received one good stadium sponsorship offer. Kaval said that as the stadium gets built they are getting more interest so he doesn't want to commit to a sponsor this early when an even better one may be coming along. I have heard nothing about seeking a dual stadium and shirt sponsorship. All I have heard Kaval say on that is that the two would need to complement each other.
I don't think the two would really be related to a potential sponsor for the Quakes. If they were still in stadium purgatory, then maybe, but it's a pretty big opportunity to put your company's name on a brand new stadium. How many more times have you said Levi's since that stadium was planned? While the Quakes aren't going to get nearly the same kind of press coverage, there will be talk, and that means a lot of times that name is getting spread around. All of those broadcasts where they talk about the stadium, all of those articles that talk about it. If you were thinking of investing in sports sponsorship at all before, the Quakes seems like one of the better opportunities right now.
The authentics are always tight. I wear L in authentic and M in replica. Nike is usually 1 size larger in everything they make, shoes, shirts, jackets, etc.
This looks like Cisco displaying a stylized double middle finger salute. Kind of interesting for a shirt logo.
haha, that's true, i never noticed that. Still they are rich & in the Bay area so i figured. Yahoo are in Sillicon Valley & they are rich to so i go with them instead since Cisco is giving the middel finger
I just hope that it's not some stupid energy drink, herbal supplement, or weight-loss company. Any team that would have a sponsor like that must be sad and pathetic....
The Ultras would have to give up their "Some like it shaved..." chant though. Which would be unacceptable.
Maybe because the authentics are made for professional athletes who are highly conditioned and have a little different body type than the rest of us? :--)
