    Wow. Curiouser and curiouser.

    Who's minding the store?

Are their any player-personel soccer folks left? I mean you don't have an assistant coach make decisions for the team's future. I know Buckley knows the production side of soccer, but I don't know how well he knows the player side.

This is a team in crisis.

Well well well . . . . . what goes around comes around.

Look for Marcia to return as GM.

    Marcia as GM???

Heck no, ain't gonna happen. Most likely, it will be Buckley or Scott. Probably Buckley. He has a lot of experience in that position. He helped start the Charleston Battery's franchise.

We know now why the team hasn't hired a coach to replace McDermott.

Either that, or we know why Ramsey is no longer GM.

They should hire McDermott as coach. She hasn't decided what she's going to do, has she? If Ramsey was the problem, he's gone.

Not having a coach does make it more difficult to make player personnel decisions . And not having a GM makes it harder to hire a coach.

The franchise has a lot to do in a short period of time.

It's always darkest before the dawn.

I really should call somebody and find out what's going on. That said, I am enjoying the suspense.

    Marcia for GM

Oddball, I think that the blue and red courage hair dye has seeped into your brain matter. Why would Marcia not be the ideal candidate for the GM position? She has a great understanding of the courage organization, the team, the staff, the coaches and players with in the league (trades). What type of coach would be best suited to replace her. She would also be in a position to give a level of insight to the incoming coach unlike any other. So explain yourself....

If you re-read Oddball's post, you will see that she did not say Marcia would not be a good or ideal GM. She just said she will not be the GM.

    Re: Marcia as GM???

OK Fairplay, Oddball does not condemn Marsha as a poor choice. But why wouldn't it happen? I have a number of reason listed above as to why it should happen.......

I would really appreciate it if you didn't keep posting entire sections of that paid newsletter. You're not "excerpting", you're copying.

Posting an entire press release is fine. Soccer America's e-letters are not press releases.
