According to this thread on the Revs board, Jeremiah White has signed with a club in the now defunct country of Yugoslavia. This comes from the "Meet the Coach" event with Steve Nicol. I presume they mean Serbia and Montenegro, but no clue about which club. White is from Lansdowne, PA, and went to Wake Forest. The Revs drafted him in this year's superdraft.
Looks like OFK Beograd (Belgrade). It doesn't look like they've got anything on their site (http://www.ofkbeograd.co.yu), but then again 1. I don't read Serbian and 2. There isn't any new news on the site since December 16. There's a link here to an article indicating that he tried out at OFK in January, but the link is dead.
I heard he was going to trial at Red Star Belgrade, and then on to Denmark. Hit the wrong button: I'll see what I can find out as I know a couple of people in that neck of the world. I know MLS offered a very low contract - and he was getting better offers from Eastern Europe than he got from MLS.
Looks like this is a good site for box scores from Yugoslavia. (With a team that draws ~1,000 fans per game, how much could White be making?) http://members.tripod.com/~dekisa/162004.htm
Perhaps interestingly, there's a fellow listed on beineke's site named Stevan Bates, a defender born in 1981 who plays for FK Zeleznik Beograd. Apparently he's from Serbia/Montenegro, but with a name like that, there's gotta be a story...
