Good thing is that Freiburg is in need of RWs. Their only RW according to transfermarkt is not a very strong player (rated < 1mill), so they're currently using a LW in the RW position. Jeong will definitely get good minutes.
Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach says that they've entered a "home stretch" in signing Jeong Woo-yeong from Bayern Munich on a permanent deal with a buy-back clause attached, according to Badische Zeitung. Seems more or less a done deal.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) June 18, 2019
Well, Davies is being touted as the best LB in the world, Pulisic is the most exciting young player at Chelsea. Jeong as he is I'm not even sure if he's Bundesliga 2 or MLS quality. Reminds me of that one guy on the Kang-In Lee thread that said Kubo isn't a talent and he'll go back to Japan LOL.
Would much rather he be a regular starter in a small team than rot on a bench. Freiburg isn’t a great move IMO since he wouldn’t get a lot of playing time.
I mean I think BL is a bit high level for JWY, I think he should have played in 2 or 3 BL this past season first.
