He is finally back to the squad after being out for injury. His loan contract with Grasshopper will expire at the end of the season. Under the current circumstance he will likely spend most of his time on the bench at Wolves after the loan. As a Bluewings faithful, I am worried his development won't make any progress.
Injured again He should have spent more seasons in K-League (particularly at Gimcheon to fulfill his military obligation)
Even as an American, I don't watch a ton of MLS but not sure if MLS is a good route for Koreans... Tho Hwang In Beom said his time was valuable here but all the traveling had a toll on him he said... But if he's able to play, that's a plus I guess.
Lee Young-pyo also praised the MLS after his time with the Whitecaps. Personally, I'm not a fan of the MLS, but Hwang In-beom's English greatly improved during his time there though. As for Kim Moon-hwan however, his form took a huge dip after lacking playing time with LA FC prior to moving to Jeonbuk, and only managed to get it back up for the WC.
