It appears everyone's favorite Ex-Dallas coach is a candidate for the vacant Fire gig. Adding some "fire" to the Brimstone Cup? Ehh...might be fun to hand Jefferies a loss here and there.
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? he was an assistant coach at Chicago prior to coming to Dallas. during the time period he was there, they won an MLS Cup and two US Open Cups. makes sense that they'd look back to people from that time, I suppose, after getting burned in the "international market" with Osorio.
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? Connecting the dots... Jeffries produces success at Chicago, fails in Dallas, and is offered a potential fail Dallas+win Chicago... Hmmmmm...
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? I would be shocked if they hired Jeffries. Didn't he struggle to handle Graziani in Dallas and now they're thinking he can run a team with Blanco on the roster?? I hate Chicago as much as the next guy but man what a dumb move that would be. Hiring Colin Clarke would be a genius move compared to Jeffries
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? I've been kicking around with someone else how Hristo Stoickov would be an interesting hire here in Dallas. (No, not saying he would be a perfect fit, only a better fit). But, given Hristo's availability and Chicago's need, he would definitely make MLS a more interesting league again.
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? Well, if this happens, we can pretty much guarantee ourselves the Brimstone Cup each year. He still pisses me off for running of Graziani!
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? Jeffries strikes me much the same way as Steve McClaren.....a #2 man through and through.
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? My grandma said I should take a crap everyday to be regular. Speaking of, if anyone hasn't seen "2 Girls, 1 Cup" yet, I highly recommend a google video search to watch it.
Re: Jefferies to Chicago?? I just threw up a little. Seriously, y'all, just watch THIS and mentally replace soft serve with poo. Oh, and I wasn't here for the Jefferies era, but if Chicago's hiring him will help FCD in any way, I am all for it.
