I was walking down the street in Hoboken yesterday when I ran into Jeff Parke and his friend Jared. They had stopped me and asked if I was fan because I was wearing a Red Bull pullover. We talked a few minutes and he thanked me for the support. I mentioned that we had crew coming up for the New England game he happy to hear that and looks forward to hearing us on Saturday

i've met jeff parke, he occasionally goes to the same church as me. he's a really cool and nice guy, very approachable. talked to him after the 3-3 kc game and he seemed really upset at the result haha.

i have also met jeff parke. you are 100percent correct. he is very approachable. he actually told us that all of the supporters are what gets him through the tuff games. he seemed very genuine, when speaking on this matter. good guy.

Jeff Parke was cool at the All-Star game, came up to a few of us at the bar, small chit-chat.

    Glad he plays for us.

    I'll second that.

I recall him taking a few minutes to chat with me and my daughter at the team hotel in DC in October of 2005. He seemed surprised we would drive 4 hours in a pouring rain to see them play. Of all the players we spoke to that afternoon he was the only one who thanked us for coming down to see them.

He's my favorite player. I never talk to the guy, but he seems so down to earth. Everytime there's a new edition of RB insider, I'm hoping he's in it.

I hope someday I'll get a chance to talk to him

Fina I think there should be some sort of response from the 101'rs personally we should boo them or let them know some how...

I'd rather not boo them if at all possible. It would only make things worse and it's too easily misconstrued.

But yes, some measured response is called for here (note : measured. Not over the top fire and brimstone)

How about a song at the end of the matches? Sort of a gentle reminder.

If you're happy with our cheering clap your hands!
If you're happy with our cheering clap your hands!
If you're happy and you know it then we'd sure like you to show it!

    Wow, are you retarded.

That's not a question, it's a statement. We don't turn on our team, end of. If they show no heart, play terrible, and don't even care..then yes, maybe it is appropriate to boo. But not after a shocking defeat like the one this weekend.

what else would you expect after a complete meltdown like that, although theoretically i would expect some sort of acknowledgment

Therewere only two RB players I booed: Yourie and forgot his name, black guy who transferred overseas.

I would never booed the whole team after a bad game or not getting acknowledge for my support.
