I have just been doing my research (yeah right) and came across a report on a Stoke City fanzine/website called 'oatcake' on our very own J.D. It is a huge match report so I 'clipped' it for our own purposes, here goes...........

Stoke forced a couple of long range efforts on the Walsall goal early on. Our best chance though came on the hour mark when Jay Denny picked up a loose ball some thirty yards centre of goal. Our young US U-20 international connected superbly with his shot, sending in a long range rocket that looked like it may have blown the crossbar clean off the top of the posts if it had connected with the frame of the goal. Instead though keeper Coleman managed to get his fingertips on the shot and tipped it over for a corner. If the ball had been heading either side of the keeper then Jay would have easily been celebrating a strike well on a par with his long range goal against Preston earlier in the season........

I am sure this is a fresh report from the Stoke City reserves team, sounds a prospect for a future NT??? I saw him play for the academy team, but that was a while back. Has anyone else seen him perform at all?
Also I was not aware that Jay had turned out for the u20 National team?

Bergin knows quite a bit about the lad, I think he speaks with him quite often through AIM.

He was recently called in for Rongen's new camp alone with some new kids (one of them, Wear Jr.). He was saying that last time when he was in Ellingere's camp, the establishment tried to push for players who are in camp already. So he feels this time everyone has a clean start. If he makes Stoke City's first team, he will be in U-20 for sure.
