The most fouled player in the Premiership but why do all the big decisions go against him? Penalty at Anfield not given, through one on one at Newcastle and pulled down, no free-kick - both blatant. The Fulham game where he was away one on one again - he was brought down by Symons but he only got booked. Suppose my gripe is more to do with refs. Since getting promoted we have got ABSOLUTELY ****************** ALL from these jumped up wannabe famous t**ts and if it keeps happening it will cost us our place in the Premiership. It's a shame cos we're playing really well. We matched Liverpool and Newcastle and lost both to the ref. Against Blackburn, both teams played probably the worst they will play this season but we lost to the ref again. We'd have got a point against Utd if we never had 10 men. We battered Leeds at home and certainly didn't deserve to lose. The only game we were truly outplayed was at Arsenal but Keown AND campbell SHOULD have been sent off. If we had a fair ref from time to time we'd be in the top 7 or 8 now,and as for that bacpass at Newcastle well i'm still amazed and if i think about it anymore i might get the smith & wesson out.
Be happy, if there weren't so many bad decisions against you, then you wouldn't have an excuse for losing so much
You obviously don't realise that my point is that we are losing BECAUSE of these decisions. Dopey t**t.
Or at least thats what every WBA fan is blaming it on i've seen bad decisions against WBA, some of the worst in the premiership, but every team gets naff decisions against them.
Welcome to the Premiership. It's nothing new, referees do their best to f*** the smaller clubs. It cost us a place in the Premiership in 97 and nearly cost us last season. Don't be surprised when it happens again. There is a slight ray of hope though, in your second season in the Prem they become a bit more sympathetic. We had Ivan Campo sent of against Arsenal for a pathetic second bookable offence and their winner was clearly offside (that's one they like to use), after the match the ref rescinded Campo's second yellow so things are improving
You're right. We'd love to believe the refs are going to be fair arbiters but it very obvious that many of them will give more calls to the so-called "big clubs"... and if you are playing a "big club" away, forget it. Foy's "refereeing" Saturday at the Toon is a blatant example.
Every team gets bad decisions, no matter how many stars they have (just look at the WC). Man Utd should've got 2 penalties at the Leeds game, especially for that block on Nicky Butt, but hey, we lost, i can't remember Ferguson whining about conspiracies against Man Utd. It was bad loss, we should've won, we should've had two penalties, bhut we didn't start whining about all the ref's hating us.
You must be joking, Ferguson is terrible when it comes to refs - particularly David Elleray. BTW, you won't ever hear conspiracy theories against Man Utd because they all go in Utds favour, so why would Utd moan about them? You are talking about one game against Leeds - another big club. I'm talking about a whole season. Even Alan Shearer said smaller clubs don't get 'the rub of the green' at bigger clubs.
At least the ref's are consistant. CONSISTANTLY CRAP!!!!! Three in a row, (you forgot the Blackburn penalty), these guys are a joke! Whos watching them? Where is the FA assesor? Are they being reported for being blind? I doubt it. As for Fergie not whinging......do me a favour!!! Fergies problem is that he hates everyone who isn't employed by ManUre.
