I think the Inferno owes Jason a tribute of some sort Saturday. Yeah I know the record probably won't last very long but however you rate the guy he continues to lead this franchise & deserves some props for his work. It would be pretty damn cool if we could raise something over the Inferno at the start of the game with his name on it instead of the FOG. Any ideas?
we could all hold up identical signs that just say "9 - 88" on them it's a crap idea, but i'm trying to get the brainstorm started...
we could do the superstar song, but after "how many goals have you scored so far?" stop and say 88!! or hold up two ginormous signs with the number 8 on them. then if he scores, use a big marker to put a 9 on the back of one and hold that up.
Okay I guess what I was looking for more is practical ideas for the sign itself rather than ideas for the wording. I'd love to unveil something spectacular that will get the whole crowd's attention.

Rev's "Taylor Tally"... ...around some words, such as ?????? goleador maximo pichichi MLS all-time leader etc ????? 88 would look numerous, maybe a hobby shop or some place would have them...plastic appliques or paper? sweeper33 just might have a largish* vinyl banner to use that's blank on one side, if a new JK message on the back wouldn't cause the existing message to be hard to read (bleed through or bunch it up or something unexpected) I'm totally lazy and hypocritical here, but will happily contribute a few bucks toward your idea, Jonno, whatever form it takes. * approx. the size of a sideline ad board.
