Hell has been frozen over for a while. You must of forgot about Nate's hat trick. I hope he keeps his goal scoring pace up

Absolutely beautiful. Now the question is can the Fire find a way to get this fact on the lips of everyone around the city that we have a star again?

Is it sad that I just now realized Nate and Ante have the exact same letter? How have I overlooked that? :)

The first name's easy enough to pronounce but the host on Fox Sports World Report botched Jaqua something fierce. I blame the Canadian accent because he made it sound horribly French.

Did they show the Thaigo goal on Fox Sports World?

Kudos to Dave and Peter who didn't give up on Jaqua and trade or cut him before he started on his goal scoring binge.

No and I was pissed! I mean I saw it live but seeing how it looked to the TV cameras would have been awesome. So about the middle of the show they're going through the Wednesday MLS results and they show the Spew and the show the Quakes then they flash to the general scoreboard with a, "and a seven goal scorcher in Chicago which is the one we haven't shown you yet." I'm thinking, "awesome, the Fire/D.C. United game is going to be the extended Match-Of-The-Day." But it wasn't. They ignored the highlights completely.

There's always, hopefully, MLS Wrap tomorrow!

    Quiz time:

What other Fire players have won "Player of the Month" in the club's history?

so what does he win? Now only if we can get Justin to run on honda hybrid technology. He can run on electicity for the first 65 minutes and then the gas engine will kick in. Before you know it he will run all out for a full 90 minutes.

Having been on the "Jaqua sucks" bandwagon, I'd like to congratulate him on this award, this season and clearly state that I was wrong.

Truly, a heartfelt congratulations to Nate.

When did Jaqua start plowing your woman? Guess it's just salt in the wounds now that he's scoring on the field too.

Then what the hell are you doing here with us soccer has beens and wanna be's? Nate is a developing talent from a professional sport family. He's got the pedigree and the determination to succeed. The FIRE are developing a base for future success with Jaqua, Mapp, Rolfe, and Barrett. Good things lie ahead for Nate and the FIRE.

I think his on field scoring might be on hold, Brian James. I heard a rumor that Nate injured his ankle in practice. Can anyone verify this?

It's been noted that Steve is currently working a second job, in order to save up $$$ for the end of the season. That, of course, is a direct result of the last time he opened his mouth about Nate.

Yes, and shame on the posters around here (and they know who they are) who wanted to ashcan Nate early on in the season.

And, gee, aren't these the guys who wanted to fire Sarachan too??

    Idiots.

Sarachan is still hardly perfect, and Jaqua was pretty much useless early in the season, and he still has to work on "not falling down." It's amazing what a 8-2-1 run will do for the job security of coaches and players. ;)
