So i snagged this link from a previous post. (http://www.sskamo.co.jp/index2.html) Besides the fact that i cant read japanese. This website has some tough looking boots, and they have the silver predator A3. Until I joined these boards, I jsut figured that whatever was available in the states, was all that was available. I'm a shoe w***e, and could spend thousands of dollars on that website if i could read it. So my question is, Do companies freqently release different boots in different countries? if so that really sucks, although my wife likes it other wise we'd be po'folks.

Yes, you're totally right! Companies like Nike and Adidas make a lot more boots than you see in your local shop. Special colours and complete different boots are not uncommon. The only way to find them is travel around or buy through the internet. I'm a total sucker for the Japanese Adidas boots. See https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2158651#post2158651

If you're smart enough you can actually start a business by importing rare boots from other countries and selling them as exclusives...
The US is very conservative when it comes to shoes. Japan and Europe rock in terms of sneakers.

I was curious about the F-50 hg on that site. It says wide but I am not sure if that means wide fit or they are refering to the stud base being wider for HG. If they are wider fitting boots I would snap them up in a second since the only thing keeping the F-50 off my feet is the fact I can only get in to a size 10.5 since it's wide enough to get into to but in length I need a 10.

well than my next questions are, how do they (nike, adidas, etc.) decide who gets what? If they asked me I would've told them a thing or two about a thing or two, and why dont they make the ones from lets say japan available her for people who are interested in buying them? Just wondering.

Thats what my problem with the f50s was. they are way to narrow. the 10 fit width, but too long, and if i pulled them tight, the studs poked my feet an hurt like hell.

I am aware that some of the "asia only" boots from adidas are wider than the standard adidas here in the west, but i am not sure about those f-50's i hope that is the case because if it is i am going to have to buy them

i'd say it's save to assume they are on a wider last

because there are other boot descriptions on the site with the HG but no "wide"

i don't own a pair of F50's, so i couldn't really make judgement between the pics

I've personally been to the Kamo soccer shop in the Shinjuku prefecture of Tokyo, and they had tons and tons of pairs of boots I had, and still haven't, seen anywhere else. They also had a lot of familiar boots, only in a huge variety of colors I also have never seen anywhere else.

This place is one of the things I always look forward to when I visit Tokyo, the selection is just beautiful to behold.

Do any of the Japanese stores have English sites for ordering?
I've got wide feet, 9D , and Kelme is the only boot I can wear with any comfort.

So im using that tranlation site, however, i was wondering if anyone knows the size conversion for that site. I was using the back of an adidas box, and the sizes listed look like they are the french sizing? any ideas?

HOWEVER, some companies may be a bit wonky...i.e. (adidas UK maybe be only half size different, but nike UK size may be a whole size different)

not sure if it applies to japanese sizes?

No, they're definetly not french. I'm pretty shure it's japaneese sizing.
