OK, so there's a first draft...hope this helps. Should solicit other members for edits/corrections/additions?
Why don't you put the Korean streams that you gave earlier 1 hour earlier before the matches start? I had a hard time finding the Cerezo-Tokushima match earlier. For some reason, Cerezo matches are always hard to find imo.
Please do chime in with any corrections or additions. Might have gotten some stuff wrong. I wish stuff like this could be wikified as a living document...forum format can be so clunky sometimes.
All right guys, let's keep polite as usual. I just wanted to add that "Hahasports" often has the japanese streams too
does this really have to be sticky? wouldnt be a problem to find it further down, as it will be updated whenever someone finds a game anyway, but if it's gonna "stick" at the top always, it will only be in the way like the previous streaming-thread we had.
Doubt you have to do that, as the J1-thread is filled with streaming-links for each game every round. It shouldnt be necessary to have this as sticky when that's the case, so either the mod's should remove the sticky part or tell people to not spam the J1-thread with streaming links. Can't have it both ways. And why isnt the J2-thread and the ACL-thread sticky?
I have to disagree here as that wasn't too updated. I haven't seen as much "links spam" as you're claiming. This is here exactly to avoid that. Because they will be updated whenever there is a game anyway . I made an exception just for J1.
Look at page 16. 4 posts with links to stream among the first 7-8 posts. That's not necessary if a thread dedicated to streaming is gonna be sticky anyway isnt? Some of us ( included most of them who live in Japan) have no interest in those streams anyway, so having both the sticky thread + numerous posts in the other threads seems a bit unnecessary. Also, streaming websites change their url's, channel numbers/names ( like justin.tv's kazan, kazanology, kazanism, kazan100,kazan200 etc) continously anyway, so that sticky thread will most likely be outdated anyway with in a month or so. But anyway, its not really that big a deal, so do what you please
I can't really blame people wanting to share a good stream if they find it... what I meant was, let's not say that "J1-thread is filled " as if they were kind of interrupting the flow of the thread. The thing we can agree on, is to let people know more about this thread, so they can post eventual links here leaving the other one free. That seems a good compromise. But that's why this thread is done the way it's done...
Having proposed the thread in the 1st place I should probably chime in. My thinking was that it's best to invest in sharing general methods on finding streams so that more forum members can find match feeds on their own, absent the usual links in the J1 thread. I don't see a big problem with people continuing to post good links (and making requests after they attempt to find one), but I hope this thread will reduce the amount of link (-request) spam. Without the sticky I doubt anyone would bother to refer back here...
It already has. I've used it three or four times to find games on the Korean site. Without it I would have had to beg for links on the J-1 thread.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of using the sky-perfect video on demand service outside of Japan? I subscribe to it and can watch all the matches while inside Japan, but if I leave the country on business am i able to watch it from overseas or does it block from non-Japanese IP?
