Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other It's sad how his career turned out. I guess he don't attract bigger clubs anymore. He has the talent though.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other He should take the move to Dijon then. Better than being in relegated Grenoble to Ligue 3. from reports I read, Matsui actually was the best player for the club and performed well all season, but lost due to a very weak defensive line. He scored, only for his team to concede which end in a draw or a lost. Matsui deserved better.

Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Things were pretty good in Le Mans, I would say he had 4 good seasons with them, then he attracted interest from bigger clubs in France, St Etienne got him, they finished top 3 that season right? Probably Matsui choosed them mainly because of that. Than they got relegated, than he went to Grenoble, pretty good season there. Then it is all downhill I can't forget the WC either, he was pretty good there also.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Now that we got the Japanese Abroad abroad sub-forum, who will create the individual thread for each player?

Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Finished threads for players that I believe people will want to discuss. There are players that I did not do like (Ibusuki, Seto, etc...) But I didn't know if they should have their own threads or if we should have a thread for the more "obscure players abroad". I'll let the mods decide that. Also, I recommend having a thread for transfer rumors for potential players going abroad, but I'll mods decide whether or not its plausible. Finally, if I missed someone or messed up something please post it so I can fix it.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Teams and countries (three-letter code will do) have to be in the title IMO. We are more or less familiar with the locations but any newcomer will struggle to figure it out quickly.
