Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany I expect Songoku, Luffy or at least Tsubasa or Doraemon, oh why it had to be Pikachu
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida's press conference. Starts at 3:06 http://www.liga1.tv/sport/beitrag/f...hida-und-christoph-metzelder-vor-manu-23.html
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida with a crucial block. He's also put Farfan in a couple of times with great passes. Schalke being bossed around so far, but Uchida hasn't been bad.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Neuer has been absolutely HUGE for Schalke. Uchida has been solid most of the time, probably 2nd best performer on the team after Neuer.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida x Farfan = awesome. I'm so excited to see Farfan coming over for the Kirin Cup. Anyway, good first half. Evra isn't good at anything but Park Ji-sung is really threatening.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida launching Schalke's best counter so far with a fantastic pass out of the back to spring Farfan. Results in Jurado shanking a difficult volley from a promising position. Jurado's been poor.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Schalke's been rubbish, it must be said. Uchida at fault on the second goal by Rooney, just jogging in space as Rooney makes a run. Hard to understand what Ragnick's game plan was.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Uchida's crossing has really been shit. Schalke's wave of desperate attacks has ended with aimless hoofs to a Man U head several times.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany No, MU players were just too strong in the air to be beaten by Raul or Edu. Plus there was never a good position for a cross.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Just out of curiosity, has any Japanese player abroad ever played a bad game or made a mistake, in your opinion? It sure doesn't seem like it from your comments.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Wait, that's not the point. You said his crossing was sh!t. But who was there to head the ball, where was the support ? There was none.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany This is a counter attack, the center defender should not easily let Hernandez slip the ball away to Rooney, the 2 center defender are totally lousy in this match. How u said that Uchida crossing are shit, this is not shit if he can cross the ball into the center, is all depend who will be the one heading the ball, he already done his job.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Just to clarify, are you saying that any cross that goes into the center is a good cross? Because I think our disagreement will have to start right there. The pace, trajectory, and timing of the ball make all the difference. Uchida really needed to get to the byline more, or cut in, instead of launching them all from that same spot a few yards off the corner of the 18 and making it predictable for the defense. If he wants to become a world-class player, these are the things he needs to learn. Look, on a day his team was an embarrassment, (and you are right the centerbacks were awful, but the midefield was worse) Uchida didn't make himself look too bad. That's a positive to take away.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany let's hope that they turn the game around in the second leg...
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany The only good thing is that they wll be forced to attack recklessly from the get-go, instead of farfing around halfway between defending and attacking like they did for 75 minutes at home. In the last 15 minutes, wth caution to the wind, they actually put quite a lot of pressure on United, and didn't look excessively vulnerable on the counter. This Schalke team exists to go forward recklessly, that is their element. Have a shootout and roll the dice on winning 6-3 rather than losing 3-6. In fact, having got to halftime 0-0 through mainly luck, Rangnick should have let loose the dogs because there was no way it was going to stay 0-0 with the chances Utd were getting. Fact is, Schalke are lucky because it is not absolutely over, two goals when it could have been five means that they can come to play, it's not a complete dead rubber.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germ...-frank-schaefer-resigns-with-immediate-effect Hopefully Makino will get some play time now
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Oh, I think it's over for Schalke and it may be better that way, they will have less pressure coming into the next game and will put a decent match this time.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany First Honda and then Nagatomo, now Uchida? http://www.sportingo.com/football/a20444_liverpool-eye-schalke-fullback This is bullshit
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany It may sound crazy but for me, Uchida to Liverpool has a real posibility, not like Nagatomo or Honda
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany Bad he is not a starter anymore. Wonder if he will leave if they get relegated?
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Germany well they are in 14th place now...let's just hope they win their next match and that hasebe gets to start.
