Well, good, even if that's a polite way to give up on the kid. It's better for him to spend his youth in Japan with his friends and family. Yoshida didn't come in against Feyenoord. Venlo lost 3-0 ...
He'll be starting in no time at this rate. I wonder how he is at english or dutch? http://www.datasport.it/news/2010/ottobre/27/42006/esclusiva-mercato-parma-chiede-morimoto.html Parma maybe loaning Morimoto? Parma are last so you know he'd get some time. And a year in Serie B wouldn't do him any harm if he was playing.
And I can see Parma coming back in the middle of the chart, they're not gonna fall in Serie B. On the other hand, Maxi Lopez is on his way out ... Maybe they will keep Morimoto.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/8/main/...lona-or-the-english-premier-league-the-right- This is getting ridiculous. They are going to create so much hype and when Kagawa doesn't score 100 goals in a season they are going to say he's a shit player. FFS let him finish a season.
Is that the normal level of writing on goal.com? Consider me unimpressed. Hell, the headline and subdeck don't even match -- the hed suggests a move is imminent, the subdeck says he needs to stay put in Dortmund. (Never mind the fact that "meteoric rise" makes no sense. Meteors don't rise, they fall.) The whole article seems to argue against itself. Despite how highly the English and Spanish leagues think of themselves, the Bundesliga is hardly the worst place to ply one's trade, especially as an up-and-coming talent like Kagawa. Dortmund is hardly a selling club, so I imagine it will keep hold of him for a while yet, especially if he keeps playing at this level. Suggesting Barcelona or some unnamed English club are going to buy Kagawa after half a season in a top European league is a silly notion, one likely floated by his representative(s). If he keeps up this level for another year or two, then it makes sense to start talking big-money moves. Until then, articles like this one are misguided, self-serving foofery. Kagawa is the current New Hotness in Asia, but another one will come along soon enough.
Goal.com/asia needs this kind of articles to attract readers to its pages. A Liga/EPL/Bundesliga supporter will read this article, then perhaps click a link about the J.League, hopefully one on the K.League, etc. It is a marketing strategy and, from the "recruiting" point of view, it makes sense. My most popular article was of course the one that had the word "Messi" in the title - not done on purpose, btw. Keep in mind that at the same time, goal.com doesn't turn down my articles on Gamba vs Cerezo supporters... It is like a record label: they have mainstream artists, and also some good indie band. The reader has the choice (for free). You can mark down writers' names, then decide if you want to read them or not, but I believe that the sincere attempt to promote Asian soccer is undeniable, and I believe in general it deserves support. My attitude when reading their J.League stuff was that I could write better articles, so I told them, and they said: please, go ahead... Troop, I am sure they would like your stuff too, as I told you! edit: Wow, I read the article, and it mentions me too! C'mon it is a great article!!
Abe played a full 90 in Leicester's win over Preston North End and got the assist for the only goal of the game. Hasebe did not get off the bench
He still plays right winger. How dumb is that. edit : Yoshida is making is debut, his team is down 2-5 at home ...
Meh atleast he's playing. Schalke lost Kawashima is still injured I think... Wow they score right when Yoshida gets in.... Not a good sign
At least he plays yes but if he keeps playing this position, that means they are very poor ... Would be better for him to play at his natural position. Uchida did well despite the loss, he has nothing to do with the goal. And you're sure it was right after ? Maybe he entered just after the goal.
Kawashima is not playing Yoshida assist!! According to soccerway Yoshida came in 75' and goal was 76' http://www.soccerway.com/matches/20...isie/vvv-venlo/stichting-fc-groningen/941509/
