For Matsui, it's Valenciennes, Lille or Kyoto so far. Price, 800 000€.

I think he should give France or Europe one more chance. He is good enough. Lille is a interesting team but we all know what happend last time he joined a "top" team (St:Etienne).

CSKA 0-2 Zenit. Honda 90 minutes. All players of CSKA played very badly. It was their worst game this year.:)

He would probably be guaranteed playing time at Valenciennes. But he could also play in Europe again with Lille.
I wonder if they are going to lose Hazard?

Valenciennes is a very defensive team ... I don't want Matsui to go out there. They regularly play with 6 defenders ! The coach already has a good dribbler with Nam Tae-Hee but he never starts him.

Lille ... Big club at the moment. Hazard will stay, he told French medias. Gervinho has made the same statement. I guess he will replace Obraniak who'll find a starter place elsewhere ? But he'll be a sub.

I would really love to see Matsui regaining the joy of playing. Of course he's doing a good season but ... he seems tired, he does not try these amazing tricks he done anymore. He lacks confidence. Maybe coming back to Japan will help him find that again ?

    Other news :

Takahito Soma looks for other clubs in Europe since he will not extend his contract and leave Funchal by the end of the season. Also got propositions from Japan. He's reaching his maximum momentum now so he better stay in Europe.

Makoto Hasebe will extend his contract (+2 years) with Wolfsburg. Milan AC was interested but well, at least he has the security of a contract.

Soma is in good form. I hope some clubs in Europe are interested.

Amateur-like end-of-the-season game between Catania vs Juventus, but this time too no space for Morimoto.

Time to move to another club, Mihajilovic clearly does not trust him.
What he could learn in Catania, he has probably learned already.

Sanga is deep in doo-doo and losing supporters. The club ***might*** come up with a strong offer, but the point is: does Matsui want to play at Sanga now? I doubt it...

A good WC would increase his chances of moving to a bigger club.

Good on him, Brescia has a great youth sector, their best product in recent years was Pirlo, but there were many more, such as the Filippini twins, etc.

What happened to Matsui? Is he injured? or did they stop playing him since they got relegated and he's gonna sign with another team?

You mean we have confirmation that he's still alive and they weren't just occasionally writing his name on the team sheet to cover up a murder ??

We need details... like... was it a stoppage time substitution ?

Well. I'm still shocked by l'OM's title but I will post the review. This is what I said on the french forum dedicated to Japanese Football :

"I'm proud of the kid. He has not played for years and his gas tank was small and empty after 10 minutes. But he worked well and, if he had aimed better he could have scored 2 goals. He's tall, strong, solid, it's good. Not very fast though.
At the end he makes a good action by dribbling two players and giving a wonderful pass to Battles. I dreamed. He deserves another shot. Against Marseilles if possible, since I will be here live :D ."

I hope he stays with Wolfsburg. They're a good team, and while he's nowhere near being their centerpiece he's an important player for them who allows the rest of the team to do their thing.
The role he plays with Wolfsburg also transfers very nicely with the NT.

But if he wants to move, more power to him.
