The game has *not* been moved to Seattle. Japan will play Uruguay there. Honestly, the American education system really is falling apart. The number of people who don't know the difference between Uruguay and the USA on BigSoccer is staggering. I'm not taking a swipe at you Encinatas. With all the morons reading about a match moving to San Diego involving Japan, it's almost axiomatic that one of them will stop breathing through their mouths long enough to post the false information here. Sachin
Well given that Fox Sports World and now CNNSI have posted stories on their headlines entitled, Venue for USA-Japan changed, it's no wonder some people are under the impression that the venue for USA-Japan has changed. The headlines do explicitly say as much after all. Given that few people click on the stories of every single headline posted on such sites (necessary in this instance to find out what's really going on) I think it's safe to say many people are under the impression USA-Japan is no longer in Seattle. The morons are those along the line that came up with the inaccurate headline and those that continually put it on web sites without noticing it's a completely false headline. It's very unprofessional at least.
Day 2 and CNNSI is still running the headline "Venue changed for U.S.-Japan soccer exhibition." Is no one there paying attention?
I wish it was moved here but I doubt San Diego would ever get a friendly again. They don't seem to like us =\
OH, F that. this would have screwed me as I'm flying up for the game! it that even happens... sheesh, I might truly have to spend time visiting the brother-in-law. that was my reason to get the wife to go up there... ;-)
