japan v Uruguay friendly on the move...

    Talk about a misleading headline (Both the article and the thread). The Japan - Uruguay friendly is the one that moved from San Jose to San Diego, NOT, repeat, NOT the USA - Japan game. That's still scheduled for Seattle, as stated in the article.

    "Japan is scheduled to open its 2003 season with its game against Uruguay in San Diego on March 26. The team will take on the U.S. national team three days later in Seattle, spokeswoman Michiko Hasegawa said."

    It read that Japan will play Uruguay on March 26 in San Diego and then will take on the U.S. three days later (March 29) in Seattle. So the venue for the U.S.-Japan friendly hasn't changed.

    i was already making plans to go see the japanese men's team play in san jose.....


    oh well, i guess i can watch it on TV....


    on a totally different nore...i hope the USMNT kick major japanese ass in seattle...
