I agree Shibasaki is fantastic but pairing him with Hasebe in a double pivot is pretty soft defensively. If Yamaguchi can regain top form, I'd love to see him alongside both Hasebe and Shibasaki in a 3-man midfield which hopefully retains defensive shape and connects pretty passing combinations in the middle of the park. I was afraid Yamaguchi would fade out of the picture after his long layoff and Cerezo's relegation, but I'm pretty high on him.
