Japan/S.Korea/Australia tourney hey- japan will be hosting a 3 country tourney in july with skorea and australia... http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Soccer/2003/07/08/130284-ap.html elaine
its going to be a pretty good tourney...especially the game between the matildas & sth korea after what happened in the 2003 Australia Cup.
Here's an article about it: http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/01/27/1043534003660.html Basically, the match was called early in the 2nd half after a South Korean coach "manhandled" one of the refs. Australia won 2-0. It was the second time in 12 months the Koreans had left the field during a match against the Matildas... so, we'll see what happens this time.
yeh the air between the matildas & the south koreans are not the best. the other incident happened at the 2002 Australia Cup where only Sth Korea & Australia contested for the Cup. http://www.matildas.org.au/auscup02match2.htm
japan defeats s. korea 5-0 in the first game http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Soccer/2003/07/22/142507-ap.html elaine

does anyoone happen to know the kick off times for these matches? and the quickest place to find results?
I've looked at footballasia.com or maybe Oceaniafootball.com. Vivy, what's with the Matildas site? They taking a winter break?
Found this: http://www.socceraustralia.com.au/public/article/show.asp?articleid=6467&menuItemID=91 ...nothing new though and no times listed.
You know who should have this game? The new Fifa World Cup site. After all, it is a friendly between two World Cup teams. But they are lacking in some areas.
haha yeh they are kinda taking a break. i actually think it is only one person who updates/maintains their site is her name is Janene Mar. she announced in the recent issue of E-Quip (electronic newsletter u can sign up to from the matildas site) that she will be away for a few weeks & the site will not be updated. she said for all the latest matildas news to check http://www.socceraustralia.com.au i thought footballasia.com would have something. last time i looked at oceaniafootball.com there wasnt anything. GO AUSSIE!!!
From: http://en.kfa.or.kr/main.asp no article or details but this: Korea women''s team 0 Australia women''s team 0 (Friendly, July 25, Sendai, Japan) ......so was that the final?
