Sorry to ruin your thread but it will help the club financially Does anybody know when the 07-08 away kit will be on sale. I have checked on the club shop and various other sites but they say they are not releasing it because they want to maximise home shirt sales, which i think is stupid because i cant get the white one dirty without people noticing Or am i resigned to buying the home shirt?
I saw the Knight move, the fee, and the fact he got a 4 year contract and was wondering if this could be the same Zat Knight that I had always heard grumblings about. I'm a bit shocked, but maybe good for Fulham. Are there plans for that money? Any hinted moves before the close of the window?
Here's another link w/ details: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=458088&cc=5901 Says 3.5 million pounds on the fee. Also, I like the part about way back when Fulham paid a fee of 30 tracksuits to acquire him from his original team
Zat gets arrested during drug raid day after going to Villa: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=458398&cc=5901
LOL, glad we unloaded that baggage. I ask you, though... which is worse? Drug charges or that own goal from last weekend?
In- Danny Murphy (1 year loan from spurs): http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_2699445,00.html In- Seol Ki-Hyeon and Out- Liam Rosenior (deals w/ reading): http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_2699430,00.html In- Dejan Stefanovic and Out- Papa Bouba Diop (deals w/ portsmouth): http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_2699108,00.html Shefki Kuqi on loan from Crystal Palace until January
I'll admit the only one of those I've really seen is Seol and I thought he looked quite good at Reading before (but that was early on last year, IIRC). I've pulled my hair out watching Rosenior a few times, so hopefully this comes out in the positive for Fulham. A lot of deals, what does everyone think of it all? Where in defense will Dejan play?
Okay so King is a done deal, whats the story with EJ? Does fulham need another striker. The back line needs bolstering and a midfeilder to distribute. Fulham can score they keep proving that the problem is they keep getting scored on and to many players are trapped in the back defending. ANy word on transfers to help with that?
My thoughts exactly. We need a real defensive midfielder. We need a right back that doesn't suck like a Hoover. While more firepower is always appreciated, we desperately need people that diffuse opposition firepower.
Brede Hangeland , FC Copenhagen to Fulham for £ 3,5 mill . http://www.nettavisen.no/sport/fotball/england/article1545258.ece He played for Viking , Norway when Hodgson was manager there.
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_3056001,00.html (english version) wouldnt it be great if he could play against arsenal this weekend! this is shaping up to be a very exciting game!
Leon Andreassen , Werder Bremen also ready for Fulham. Price around £ 2,9 mill . Passed the medical test. http://fotball.aftenposten.no/england/article98348.ece http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Andreasen
King 5m Hangeland 3.5m Andreassen 2.9m Honest to god, that's more talent than everything Sanchez landed with what... 25m?
Don't know much about King, but Hangeland and Andreassen are well worth the money. Excellent signings. I hope they'll do well at Fulham.
Hodgeson is turning out to get some decent signings, and Johnson will be added to this list soon. As soemone said, already did better then Sanchez when he spent 25mill. Hopefully they can help us get are asses out of the relegation zone.
Hangeland can play defensive midfielder as well. One would hope that's how Roy plays him, as we're... well, frankly fresh out of DMs at the moment. I don't know enough about Andresassen to say how he stacks up against Boca or Stefanović. The good news is that just about all of these guys are pretty flexible, able to play some other position as well as central defense. I think we'll see a lot of different combinations in the coming months. Hopefully Hodgson can put together the right combinations against the right opponents. I'm so much more hopeful now than I was 2 weeks ago...
