http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...=54&lid=&title=Jones+eyes+New+Year+resolution Add QPR's Ray Jones to the list . . .
We need to up the bid, though: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...bid&lid=&c hannel=Football_Home&f=rss&clid=52
This isn't "transfer" news - but it's contract news. Fulham boss Chris Coleman will this week open talks with American World Cup striker Brian McBride in a bid to make him stay at Craven Cottage. (Sunday Mirror) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm Also, Fulham are ready to swoop for Newcastle defender Titus Bramble. (Daily Mirror) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/6205419.stm
Titus Bramble... that's real exciting. He better be able to get a turnover from Titus much quicker than Zatiyah, or Bramble will be retired by the time we can stop calling him Bumble.
If we land Dempsey, and maybe another decent midfielder we should be ok. I think the chances of getting Onyewu are dead, right?
Spurs are ready to sell Danny Murphy to Fulham and will listen to offers for Edgar Davids. (Daily Express) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm I also heard this rumor during the FSC broadcast of Tottenham-Aston Villa this morning.
Probably the worst move we could make. Maybe it's in gratitude for single-handedly allowing us to come back and win from 1-0 down with 10 min left in September. Watch the highlights - almost entirely his fault.
I'll just keep adding to the list : Who? - Vincenzo Montella Where is he? - Roma Who is he linked with? - Fulham http://www.4thegame.com/features/feature/198171/transfers__idol_gossip.html
And the beat goes on . . . "Onyewu turned down the chance to join Middlesbrough back in the summer, while Premiership rivals Fulham are thought to be monitoring his situation at Liege. " http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=437848&CPID=219&clid=54&lid=&title=Gooch+tops+in+America "According to reports in the Norwegian media, Fulham have reignited their interest in Odd Grenland defender Per Nilsson. " http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...d=54&lid=&title=Fulham+renew+Nilsson+interest
I would just like to state for the record that that I would give my left nut for Onyewu to be playing long-term for Fulham... That is all...
http://sport.scotsman.com/rugby.cfm?id=150262005 I would watch closely what kind of promises you make and how seriously they're taken over here. But seriously, if last night's match showed anything, it was how desperate we are for the type of dominating defender Onyewu could be. Boca tried but really struggled to control the Bent boys. Christanval has good flair, composure but no cutting edge. Gooch could teach Marlon Harewood the meaning of the word dominate.
It appears Cookie has shed a lot of light on some of the rumors concerning Fulham's incoming players. Basically : Dempsey has agreed to join for $2.9 million but will have to go through the appeal process on a work permit (which we already knew). They have had discussion with AS Roma about Montella - but that's about all he could say about it. They are not going after Danny Murphy. Per Nilsson is not a target either. Haven't heard anything on Edgar Davids - no word on where/if he's going anywhere. I did come across this on BBC.com Watford will make a £3.5m swoop for Fulham forward Collins John. (News of the World) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/6220761.stm I find this interesting to say the least - and I can't say I quite believe it.
Its insane at this point, but I cant say that CJ has impressed me AT ALL this season, laziness is the most PC term that I can use. Oh, and stickied
Coleman says Watford have made no offer for John: http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1775_1812186,00.html Also, Coleman's comments on this transfer window: http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_1812176,00.html
I know nothing about this Tribunal. Hopefully they are partial to Footballers. In other news, it looks like Gooch is coming to Thameside. link
The Yanks Abroad forum is blowing up about this Gooch rumor. Looks like he might be shopping AC Milan (!!!) too... https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=457583
