Norwegian keeper invited to Highbury http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?...d=&Title=Norwegian+keeper+invited+to+Highbury Wenger says its just for a look and not to buy but with all the talk about another goalkeeper one would tend to lean towards the former.
http://www.football365.com/news/story_135995.shtml Edu told to sign "or else." http://www.football365.com/news/story_135917.shtml And if "else" happens Petit may play a stop-gap role.
I like Edu, but I also wouldn't be totally against a return of Petit to Highbury, its just a shame its a one or the other type of deal. Still given the choice I know who *I* would sign
i can picture Dave M browsing Arsenal.com player profiles in his dreams and clicking on his hero (sorry i only had 2 mins but i had to do it...pretty crappy job but the point has been made)
Let's continue this thread with EDU I wonder where he will go!!! Real Madrid 4 a swap and money with beckham or Man U or Barca or Valencia??? I think if beckham could be an input in this Real Madrid will be the best option 4 us No1ArsenalFan
My god its histerical I think that works even better than the "not as great as X" idea Much obliged to you fedwood!
he clearly is destined to go to arsenal seeing as his debut was against arsenal and in the return fixture he scored his first goal
Guti?!?!? Good God, man. While he may seem like Beckham at first glance, he is half as useful and twice as feminine (and I'm not a big Becky fan). If you want a second stringer from Real, why not go for Solari?
Sorry for coming in on the in-joke a bit late, but where has the Lee Carsley love come from? Who said they wanted him?
Encouraging, but I'll wait for his signature. AW said he'll sign an experienced midfielder if Edu goes; how soon before Arsenal are linked with Mark van Bommel?
IIRC there was a MvB link about 3 years ago and when it was dismissed it seemed like both parties had soured on each other.
But we DO love Lee Carsley. If he isn't an Arsenal player next season, then I'm going to be very disappointeted (along with Dave I'm guessing). I love to follow all the transfer speculations being bandied about. My experience with Wenger is that nobody's ever right. The transfers are usually a surprise to everybody. I'm sure there'll be some transfers come January and I'm equally sure that they will be a surprise to us all. KJ
