I've been on the Robert Green bandwagon for a while. Does well behind a Division One defense (and a pensioner in Thomas Helveg).
Kiraly is a great shot stopper, played really well @Old Trafford, hey he kept a clean sheet today vs. that team from N17! ;)

Niemi is decent. Problem is that those 3 guys are not available now as all play for teams in the relegation scrap. All 3 may be available in the summer if their teams get relegated.

the only decent keeper available right now in the January transfer window is the guy at Stuttgart, but that would be a swap deal with Jens, and I don't think AW is ready to give up on Jens yet.

Now, Given's performance against us is what I call good goalkeeping. Did you ever seen Lehmann perform like that? Even though they still lost, this is the kind of goalkeeping that would have easily been game-changing. And this is the kind of performance I want to see an Arsenal goalkeeper performing.

Rick, three more off the top of my head that didn't cost us in the end, but that's lucky for Lehmann:

    1. Leeds away, won 4-1, but he had a clearance charged down into the net by the fat man Viduka iirc.
    2. Chelsea at home. Presents the ball to them for Mutu to smash it in.
    3. PSV away, crap marking from the corner, but the guy headed it in from about three yards out ffs!

You were only detailing those gaffes that cost us points or knocked us out of the competition. Add on the ones we've got away with and you see a pattern. And I don't consider this an exhaustive list, these are just the ones I can remember right now.

I realise we were a bit spoilt with Seaman, but there's no harm in striving to find a replacement that is better than either of the two we have at the moment who are obviously nowhere near "Safe Hands" level.

There's a rumour that Arsenal will sign Fabio Rochemback from Sporting as a replacement of Wenger. He might still be owned by Barca so the good relationship between the 2 clubs can help with the transfer. Can anyone on the inside confirm this?

I can confirm fully that Rochemback will certainly not be coming in to replace Wenger...... :D

As for him coming in for Edu, no idea!!

Did I read a rumor that they were going to try and bring van Bommel in, again? Or was it the drugs?

Reported on soccer mania also this morning that Rochemback will be in tomorrow to sign a 1 year loan deal- he's currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon. Hope it's not true, he's rubbish.

Seems like Edu might not be leaving so soon. Valencia refuses to pony up 1.5 mil to sign him now, according to Wenger they are offering far less. Heres the article I think Wengers playing hardball but will sell Edu just before the window closes. By the way, has this transfer window been boring or what? Their haven't even been any good rumors.

    its sorta like this....
when you are 6 years old, and you dont have any money.. you love to go to the toy store, only you are too skint to purchase that new GI Joe hovercraft..
arsenal just arent players in the market cuz we don't have the capital..

I didn't mean just for us, i meant the whole Transfer window for all of Europe. I really haven't seen anything interesting, its been really quiet and boring. The biggest transfer is probably Morientes and i could care less. I always enjoy good (actually rubbish) transfer rumors and even those have been lacking. Maybe something big will happen this weekend.

I really think Everything is going to go down in the Summer Transfer window.

Some Crazy Transfers will be happening this summer.

    Jaoquin could go to Barca
    SWP will Leave City
Chelsea will spend another 100 mil
And AC Milan are preparing a 40 million dollar bid for Ronaldinho.
Beckham perhaps could leave Real Madrid

I cant wait until the summmer.

BTW, Anelka left City to play in the Turkish league.

God, I could not agree more. . . $20mil in cap space, 2 first round picks, all hope is not lost. . .

Plus, why is your man Bobby complaining about getting a little heckling? What does he expect when his team comes to the home of the best college basketball team in Texas?

    Ha, ha, ha. . .
