Nevermind, looks like Kiyal's off to Celtic. Haifa will receive a transfer fee of 2m euros. I think it's a good deal, I hope Biram succeeds in Glasgow. I suppose Silva will take his spot alongside Culma.

i dont like him....there are TONS of better players in Israel....i think he gets the special attention cause he is one the few "decent" Israeli-Arab players....

Ya he isnt that good, but I believe he can still improve, its a tough league in Scotland, and he will HAVE TO get better if he wants to survive in the north. Its only a positive for Israeli football. Unlike Barak Yitzhaki who leaves, only to come back 6 months later.

The only "special" attention he gets is from Beitar fans, but for the wrong reasons.

Like greenapes said he was one of the most important players for Haifa the past 2 years. There's a reason Kashtan selected him as a starting player in the NT at the age of 20. Now I think Kashtan made a mistake giving him that responsibility when wasn't completely mature yet, but the truth is we don't have many defensive midfielders that are as strong and dependable as Kiyal.

Yeah it will be difficult for him to get often playing time at Celtic, but it's a good move for him. Unlike in Israel the Scottish league will challenge him physically which is something he needs for his position.

Rumours over in Glasgow that Celtic are interested in signing Itay Shechter and are willing to pay around £2m for him, is he any good? if he is anything like Kayal then I hope we pull this off.

Interesting how all of a sudden all these Israelis are heading to Scotland. I couldnt imagine a more different style of play or climate. Must be a pretty difficult transition

It's not going to happen, I'm not sure where these rumours come from but it seems likely he won't be leaving this window.
