    Shai Maimon

Elisha Levi has told defender Shai Maimon that he can not leave the club, not even on a loan. I wished that Maimon would have been played more on a rotation this year and I understand his frustrations and wanting to leave.

    Yakir Lusky

Tubruk product Yakir Lusky has joined the Seattle Sounders for a trial. Lusky once played for Hapoel Tel Aviv but his career has taken him as of late to Hapoel Ashkelon.

    Yuval Spungin

Representatives from Cypriot side, AC Omonia, were at Kiryat Shalom today to watch Yuval Spungin train. They are interested in bringing him to Cyprus. There are also rumors that he is being connected to French club RC Lens. Since Spungin has an Estonian passport, he wouldn't count as a foreigner for either club.

    Re: Yuval Spungin

What? Why should he go to Cyprus when they aren't even better than Israeli league. Lens maybe is a good move but Cyprus.

yeah I just don't see that one happening, especially considering that, after Torres, Yossi has arguably been the best player for Liverpool this season

Re: Golasa signs with Lazio (Italian)

I wish him well. I'm proud of it as an Israeli. I like the idea of israeli's in seria A ....... I think the epl is the best league but Lazio is no joke , very respected.

Was Strahman just rated by Haifa as not good enough or was he released on loan? He was so highly rated out of River.

Maor Buzaglo to Inter would be a disaster. He would be benched for a season or two then offloaded to some unknown club in Serie C.

He needs to start off like Benayoun (who may be on his way to Chelsea- http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=788361&sec=transfers&cc=5901) who started off his European career in a mid-table club
(Racing) and rapidly climbed the ladder to a club like Liverpool (which can be compared to inter for the sense of argument).

I remember West Ham was interested in Buzaglo last summer, now that would be a reasonable move, especially with grant on his way to "The Hammers".

  24. I don't think that Grant will sign any Israelis. Just because of how he got along with Tal Ben-Haim at Chelsea.
