    Potter’s teams don’t score goals.

Nobody is writing him off ffs

I simply expected far more on his debut .. and now I’m not as disappointed about now getting him as I was …

I’ve had a mad thought about trossard

could he be employed sometimes as an 8? Has similar skill set to ode and a high work rate and pace

could be the mad thoughts of a crummie bunt but worth considering

This dude claims that Edu wanted to trigger the 60m euro release clause but Zubimendi wouldn't leave his team in Jan.

    but

Supposedly Barca wants him to replace Busquets but may not have the cash. Turns 24 in a couple weeks and plays DM almost exclusively.

If we really want him, I would rather that than risk Chelsea, Barca, etc... finding the cash for him in the summer. That said, if we are gonna give a loan back, I think that deserves a reduction in the 60m number.

    Quite possibly.
I’ve always loved this guy so to have him along with Smith Rowe and Viera as options in games is fabulous

Holdings games on the left in a back 4 basically forced our hand.

Me and @DaPrince84 wanted him a while ago

    Good player but brutally slow

with more pace could’ve been Partey esque

    :ROFLMAO:

Remember that year Wenger was building his final great side and signed Petr Cech and we speculated over all these fantastic players to come in and he signed no one ...:p

Seeing some claims out of Italy that Arsenal are interested in Weston McKennie. Asking price is supposedly 20-25m euro.

From what I've seen of Weston he appears to like attacking the edge of the box, so he would fit the xhaka role, probably not the Partey role.

In general, I think you are right. However, he could potentially be coached up for the Partey role given his time at Schalke where he played DM & CB. Over the course of his professional career he has played CB, RB, DM, CM, LM & RM. Been CM the most but that level of versatility isn't a bad thing and I can't help but wonder if he could develop into a right-footed Zinny. Having 2 inverted FBs that play as DM/CM in attack would allow the DM role to more of a true DM rather than the hybrid role Partey plays now.

Personally I am torn on this link. I think it would be nice to add another American or 2 to the roster for marketing purposes but I tend to prefer both Adams & Musah when it comes to American MF. If the link is legit (supposedly tier 1 from Juventus), I will trust in Edu/Arteta that he will be a good fit.

Also seeing a claim that both Arsenal & Dortmund have a deal agreed with Valladolid and are awaiting a decision from Fresneda on which team he would prefer.

I love McKennie and I don't see how he fits into this Arsenal team at all. His technical quality is a mile below everyone else.
